You have your own reasons to want to work from home.  Maybe you need the extra income that a home business or affiliate program might give you.  Maybe you have a family and would like to spend more time at home.  Or maybe you're unemployed and tired of looking for jobs, or you cannot work out of the home for health reasons, and maybe you are retired from the normal work routine. Do you take your laptop with you everywhere you go?   Get your laptop accessories at factory prices with same day shipping.  Nothing worse to get stuck because you need a part to get the computer running and having to pay more than you should for it because it's after hours, or the computer store is too far and you don't have time to drive there, or whatever the reason is.  Be ready for these situations without having to pay the high price.

Whatever your reasons are to want to work from home full-time, they have to be strong enough to give you the discipline and confidence you'll need.  There is so much more to working at  home than just finding an opportunity.  Your income WILL fluctuate every month.  Once you become a full-time home worker, you will no longer have the security of a regular paycheck to count on.  

Working at home is all about taking responsibility and being accountable for your actions.  If you don't make money, unless you joined an outright scam, start by analyzing what you did or didn't do and how much time and effort you REALLY put into it before you blame the entire world for your lack of success.  Those who don't take any responsibility for what goes wrong in their lives are those who don't succeed.

The #1 thing that you'll need is full support from your spouse.  Contrary to what you might have heard, you won't be making $10,000 per month next month.  Or 3 months from now.  Not even 6 months from now.  So get that out of your mind right now, it's not going to happen!  It will take time before you start seeing a small income that will increase as you learn the necessary skills and apply them to good use.

Do you currently have money saved up so that you can still meet your financial obligations every month?  Will you be able to pay your rent/mortgage on time?  Credit cards, car payments, student or personal loans? 

Have you thought about health and dental insurance that will no longer be provided by an employer?  What about prescription drugs that you need to buy on a regular basis?

Ok, so you're on your way now, what do you do next?

DIVERSIFY!

The worst thing you can do is to put all your eggs in the same basked and think you hit a gold mine when you start making money.  Then you decide to quit your job to work your home business full time, or you start relying on that monthly income as extra money to pay bills.  And then... BANG!  One day that extra money just isn't there anymore.  What happened?  What went wrong?

Once you know what you're doing and you're doing it well, meaning that you're in PROFIT every month, start diversifying right away.  Learn to create a website, teach yourself true affiliate marketing.  Try new things and keep at it until you find new ways to make money IN ADDITION to your first program.  When you only rely on your own efforts to make money it's easier to monitor and adjust your income.  You can't control what other people do, you can only control what YOU do.  

And it's so much easier when you don't have to recruit to make money, when you don't spend hours on end trying to help people who don't want to be helped, or when you don't have to listen to all the internet lazies who don't want to listen to reason and believe they'll be rich beyond belief next month without spending a dime or lifting a finger.  *SIGH*  

These people will still be here, on the internet, 5 years from now, and probably more broke then than they are today, STILL looking for the golden opportunity that will make them rich. Jumping from program to program, making a little bit of money here, losing a ton of money there.  They blame the program, they blame their upline, they blame the company, they blame the products, it's NEVER their fault.  They're not making any money so it's gotta be a scam!  I could name a dozen of these people who are no further ahead today than they were the day I met them several years ago.  Don't be one of them!

People who have made a fortune on the internet haven't done it with just one program.  It might have started out that way, many thank SFI for everything they've learned (I'm one of them!) and sending them on the path to success. 

What do all these people have in common?  STRONG DESIRE TO SUCCEED! 

It's not because they're smarter than you.  It's not because they're better educated than you.  It's not because they have more money than you.  Failure just isn't an option for them.  They may fail at one thing and then they jump on another right away and run with the ball.  They don't allow themselves to be discouraged.  They LEARN new skills all the time.  They don't cry and whine that their upline doesn't help them, they teach themselves!  They are self-starters.  They believe in themselves.  

Do you believe in yourself?  If you want to succeed on the internet, you have to put yourself in the right frame of mind.  It's a tough world, a lot of competition, and internet marketing is the fastest changing environment.
